SENTINEL PICTURES, Inc. is a private script holding and film production company dedicated to making high-quality, low-budget, strikingly imaginative movies. It is a registered California Corporation.
Our primary objective is to find and secure the most stunning, brilliant and original scripts available, and then produce them independently with a maximum of efficiency and a minimum of cost to our silent investors -- to the profit of one and all.
This has been often said before, but we are able to do this because the principle production members of this company have each a minimum of 22 years in actual film production at every level (both union and non-union). They are adept at all the tricks, economies and corner-cuttings known only to the deepest insiders in the film business. They grew up in the trenches, and simply know how it is done.
Your investment winds up on the screen, and nowhere else. We have no overhead or studio lot to maintain.
The scripts we seek must have all the traditional elements of great films: possess an intrinsic and timeless magical quality, acutely illuminate the human condition, and make these insights pleasantly comprehensible to any age, class or nation. We particularily seek and like strong and clever female leads.
We intend to make inexpensive film classics that swell the brain as well as the heart.
While we are not necessarily seeking funding at this time, we will consider and respond in writing to serious inquiries from mature venture capital about each of the following scripts. Simply leave your email addresses.

Production cost ranges, from funding to finish, are $.5 million to $15 million, all below-the-line.
Distribution is open-ended, not packaged, and will go to the best bidder in consultation with investors.
Investors receive standard recoupement schedules and profit participations. Some negotiations are acceptable.

Sounds simple enough, so he takes it on -- and uncovers the 'people' who are planning to take over the world. “HOUSES OF THE LORD” (PG-13) [Our favorite. An outraged mid-western Protestant preacher and his family make a jihad against local corrupt corporations who are ruining the countryside. Unforgettable images.]
“MIRROR MAN” (PG-13) [Ultra low budget psychological thriller and comedy. An insane asylum finally releases a handsome young inmate. He has been locked up since childhood, but they lost his papers and now no one can remember why he was ever there! However, he has safely been reprogrammed into a model citizen, and so is released. He bravely goes forth into modern city life -- and constantly gets into trouble trying to do good. He also tries to mirror the 'normal' people around him. We are left wondering: Is he an insane man in a sane world, or a sane man in an insane world?]
“GUNSEL!” (R) [Modern noir to end all noir. Unspeakable images about a killing-machine man-of-honor who was given none, though in the end he perhaps earned some. You will have to decide, and it will not be easy.]
“JOBA” (PG-13) [Vietnam War related spy-romance-thriller. An strong and indomitable female lead character endures incredible suffering and betrayal to find Truth. It is a female Job-story that leaves us wondering: who she is and why is she so spiritually lost, mentally anguished and physically scarred? Will the strange new man in her life help or hinder her? Is he really what he seems?]
“MAN WITH NO HEART, GUN WITH NO SHAME” (PG-13) [A satirical Western about corrupt politicians plundering the contryside and robbing folks. They are finally confronted by a reluctant Civil War hero, and his even tougher beautiful pioneer wife. Can "right" take on "might" and survive? Draw part'ner!]

“PROXY SUNRISE” (R) [Modern detective noir story. Mexico's Mayan roots come back with a bloody vengeance to haunt Los Angeles. The bodies pile higher and higher and nobody seems to care!]
“LICENSED TO CHILL” (G) [Romantic comedy spoofing shady defense contractors. A mild-mannered accountant is mistaken for a major spy and given a rough time by a ruthless corporate executive. He hilariously overcomes all, and in the end even gets the girl!]
“THE DANCER AND THE MOLE” (R) [Cold war spy thriller about torture and revenge.]

“SMALL GODS” (PG-13) [Serious drama of a starving and lost German Army squad who desperately escapes in a blinding snowstorm from the horrific Stalingrad seige in January, 1943. They suddenly emerge in modern New York City's 'Central Park' to the annoyance of sweating joggers in red shorts, and soon are confronted by fat amused cell-phone pic-snapping cops. The fun soon stops as officious local authorities try to order around the toughest soldiers in the world, all armed to the teeth. All scripts and treatments are registered with the WGA and Library of Congress. Don't steal! Our lawyers are mean, smart and tough. We let them take 100% of court awarded compensations. They like that...
